Sumocore has been developed by amra (aka; Max MC Costa) during his spare time and it's written in pure PHP/OOP
Sumocore it's the hearth of sumotoy! It's the main engine under all things! We designed it for speed,reliability,security and POWER.
This core has NOTHING to do with phpfusion or mfusion.
UPDATE:
We changed all the DB and folder names structure recently and developed the new version of sumocore to avoid any possible misunderstood with original PHPFusion engine.
As result this site it uses just a couple of javascript written by crappoman and wooya that will be replaced soon (we introduced JQUERY in our core years before our conterpart and since we are experienced with it we will recode all js with this framework) and the FAQ panel that has just converted but will be replaced with FAQ II in next weeks.
Core, rendering, structure, db, functions, includes, etc. has ALL been redesigned from scratch. The result is this site, fast, secure, with tons of unseen features because the powerful custom core, rendering engine and JQuery.
We will complete the sumocore in next weeks with dynamic theme that can render user customized themes in realtime (as far we know this has never been done at this level in a cms)
FEATURES
power
sumocore is extremely powerful. It has been written using PHP5 classes and it's at the state of art of what PHP5 can do. The engine can directly handle every type of media, thanks to the support of AMFPHP2,Imagemagick,GD2, and all routines has been written to use minimum server resources and thanks to using advanced code caching tecnology they are very fast. Thanks to the amazing parsec (our bbcode rendering engine) this site has the best bbcode features ever seen in every cms.
The rendering engine can also render page in different standards at user request.
security
How many sites have spam or being hacked? Thanks to the custom code but expecially to our 5 level security system we newer get spammed or hacked!. The engine automatically detect spam or hack activities and block sensitive data access. In the same time it studies the activities and compares in his databases. If something new happen it send an sms to the admin and goes in defend mode by enabling more security routines. We have a database with over 300.000 hack/spam issues and site uses Akismet and 3 other spammers databases.
reliabilitySince the routines are designed to avoid recursions and useless db calls the entire code is much more stable.
w3c
html code created by sumocore it's fully w3c and has no errors even in html/xhtml. Core can render page in different standards as user request and change content rendering to avoid error and fully validate. Check out blogs that shows flash content, complicated display layout and fully validate!
